Another day of searing heat is expected across North Texas today. However, it appears this current heat wave is peaking. Tuesday's high was 108 and that should be as high as we go. Today won't be far behind though, topping out at 105 under sunny skies. A moderate southwest wind will offer some slight relief.
Slight heat-relief is expected toward the weekend. Low rain chances are possible across the area due to the ridge shifting west and passage of a weak cold front on Saturday.
