Fall officially arrives this evening, but it won't feel like fall for North Texans as highs remain near 100 degrees.
Fall officially arrives at 8:04 p.m. today. However, it won't feel like fall anytime soon.
The late-summer heat streak will continue across North Texas today with a high near 100. Fortunately, the humidity will remain fairly low, so it won't feel as oppressive. The pattern will remain unchanged as we head into the weekend. Highs will remain in the middle to upper 90s Saturday and Sunday. Some heat relief is expected by early next week. A cold front will arrive Sunday evening, allowing for temperatures to come down by Monday morning. High temperatures will be in the 80s next week with low temperatures down into the low 60s. Unfortunately though, the chance of rain looks low.Download NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
