Officiating has been a popular subject in the NBA Finals after some Celtics felt Draymond Green should have been ejected in Game 2.
The NBA announced the officials for Game 3 of the Finals Wednesday morning as the league assigned Scott Foster, David Guthrie and Courtney Kirkland to work the matchup between the Warriors and Celtics.
The last time Foster worked a Warriors playoff game was Game 5 of the Western Conference finals when Golden State defeated Dallas to advance to the NBA Finals. After Green was assessed a technical foul during the first half of Game 2 on Sunday, it appeared as though he narrowly avoided another when he and Celtics guard Jaylen Brown got tangled up near the sideline.
An officiating crew led by crew chief Zach Zarba elected to call Green for a common foul and not a technical, which would have triggered an automatic ejection.
