BREAKING: Myles Garrett has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Falcons.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Myles Garrett has been ruled out of the Falcons game Sunday after flipping his Porsche multiple times on Monday several hours after practice on his way home to Medina.Garrett, who suffered a sprained shoulder, strained biceps, cut wrist and ruptured blood vessel in his left eye during the one-car accident, had been listed as questionable. He hit his head during the accident, but had been cleared of a concussion. He will be replaced by third-round end Alex Wright.

The Falcons won’t be easy to beat with a backup defensive line. They’ve averaged 27 points in their first three games, and will match up well against the Browns’ depleted front. They’re also without middle linebacker Anthony Walker Jr., who suffered a season-ending torn quadriceps tendon in Thursday night’s 29-17 victory over the Steelers.

“Alex is definitely getting better every week,” Woods said. “He’s learning what life is like in the NFL, the players he has to go against every week. You can see him from a technical standpoint and from a confidence standpoint improving in terms of playing the run and improving in the pass rush. We move him around a little bit outside and inside. He is definitely getting better every week.”“Setting the edges,” he said. “Running stunts whenever we pressure.

“Definitely grateful to be here with what I saw, the pictures, I think it was a hell of an event and just grateful that not only am I alive, I was able to have so much of my family and the support system that was around me and just keep me locked in and keep me focused on taking it day-by-day.” He was especially grateful that his passenger, Yiana Tjotjos, 23, of Rocky River, emerged with only a minor head injury. When he was being questioned in the ambulance by the trooper and still dazed, Tjotjos’ wellbeing was paramount.
