A motorcyclist died Saturday morning after riding off a Point Loma road, hitting a curb and getting thrown to the ground, San Diego police said.
The rider, in his mid-20s, was on a purple and black Harley Davidson headed west on Chatsworth when he failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into oncoming traffic, police said.He continued until he hit a curb and was ejected from the motorcycle, according to police. The rider, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, died of his injuries.
