Montrose mural depicting Americans detained abroad to be unveiled, organizers ask President Biden for help.

A new mural will be unveiled July 4 to commemorate 15 Americans whose families say they were wrongfully detained in foreign prisons." a campaign started by the families of detained Americans. The organization asks President Biden's help to bring them home.The event will begin at 9 a.m.

at 1203 Westheimer RoadAmong the 15 Americans, six of them are from Texas. The wheat paste mural will be the organization's second put up and designed by Isaac Campbell. The murals use a combination of flour, water, and sugar to make the glue which is then used to stick printed paper to surfaces. The unique method of mural-making intends to create collaboration as it takes a team to adhere the mural.
