This week the Mobile City Council took two big steps forward on revitalizing the Mobile Civic Center, something that has been in the works for almost 20 years.
At Tuesday’s meeting, the council voted to adopt a “master plan” for the civic center site and voted to amend the city’s zoning ordinance to allow zoning for the property.
