A missing Thornton woman and mother of two was found safe Sunday and is being evaluated, according to police
Family said the 35-year-old woman was last heard from shortly before 4 p.m. Friday. Her husband told Denver7 that the woman was traveling to visit a relative in Parker Friday afternoon, but never made it there.
Attempts to contact her cellphone when straight to voicemail and her last pinged location was at Fairfax Park in Commerce City, an area her family said the woman has never visited. Thornton police listed the woman in a national missing person's index Saturday and was asking anyone with information to contact their department.
