A deputy who responded to the scene observed a black Jeep in a rest area and encountered Alcaraz, Stratten and the bystander who made the report. This is believed to be missing woman Nikki Alcaraz’s most recent photo, taken at a Walmart in Redding, California, on May 27 while she was selling her cellphone at a kiosk.The 33-year-old was pictured with a black eye and bruises on her arms three weeks prior after an alleged domestic incident with her boyfriend, Steven Stratten, in New Mexico.
However, Stratten told the deputy that it was Alcaraz who punched him in the mouth “for no reason,” and that she continued hitting him in the car, according to the incident report.More blood was found on the passenger side door of the couple’s black Jeep, from which Stratten had emerged.
