Job gains in October were lower than in September, but still better than some economists predicted. With jobs added to each month of his presidency, Biden boasted the"record setting 10 million job increase," including 700,000 manufacturing jobs.
"While comments by Republican leadership sure seem to indicate they are rooting for a recession, the U.S. economy continues to grow and add jobs even as gas prices continue to come down," Biden said. He said he has a plan to bring down costs, especially for health care, energy and other everyday expenses. And this plan, he said, is"very different" from the Republicans' plan.
