A Michigan hair salon owner said anyone who does not identify as a man or woman is 'not welcome' at her business and should instead go to a pet groomer.

"If a human identifies as anything other than a man/woman, please seek services at a local pet groomer," a now-deleted Facebook post from Studio 8 Hair Lab read."You are not welcome at this salon. Period. Should you request to have a preferred pronoun used please note we may simply refer to you as ‘hey you.’"
The post went viral after it was shared in a Facebook group for Traverse City residents, where the salon is located.
