Meta executive Nick Clegg calls AI 'quite stupid' as the company announces plans to give away its AI tech
Meta executive and former UK deputy prime minister Nick Clegg isn't sure how intelligent AI really is., Clegg, who is Meta's president of global affairs, said some of the hype around AI overestimated the tech's abilities.
"Hype has somewhat run ahead of the technology," he said, referring to AI language models."In many ways, they're quite stupid."
