Memorial 2 shots off lead in Class 6A state golf tournament
After starting off with a bogey, Memorial's Charlie Wylie settled down nicely, highlighting his round of 66 with an eagle on the par-five seventh hole.Memorial junior Charlie Wylie shredded the Legacy Hills Golf Club course Monday and enters the final round of the UIL Class 6A boys golf championship in good position to win the title.
After starting the round with a bogey, Wylie bounced back and carded five birdies and an eagle on the par-5 seventh hole. The Woodlands is in fourth place, just four shots back. The Highlanders were led by junior Daniel Zou, who is tied for fourth after a 3-under 69.
