The Duchess of Sussex, 41, penned her sharp critique of the Princess’ 2011 wedding to Prince William in her now-defunct lifestyle blog, “The Tig.”
Meghan Markle may have been a relative unknown to the royal family, but they certainly weren’t unknown to her.before marrying Prince Harry in 2018; however, it now seems she was knowledgeable about a certain member: Kate Middleton.
Named after her favorite red wine, Tignanello, Markle’s online journal dove into topics such as food, fashion, health and travel, as well as touching on subjects of politics and philanthropy., the resurfaced article reportedly noted the “endless conversations” surrounding the opulent ceremony — and declared that young girls should want to grow up to be mighty women in real life, not damsels swept up in a fairy tale.
“Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power,” she said, in reference to thein the Masters of the Universe franchise. “She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength.”
