More than ever before, a team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil would make a lot of sense considering Peter Parker's new status quo in the MCU.
Although Spider-Man teaming up with Daredevil in the MCU has long been hoped for, there's never been a better time than now with Daredevil: Born Again and Sony's untitled Spider-Man 4. In the original Marvel Comics, Peter Parker and Matt Murdock are allies and friends thanks to their shared roles as protectors of New York. As such, an on-screen alliance would be extremely fitting considering Peter Parker's new life following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man and Daredevil have met face-to-face in the MCU. However, it's simply in a civilian context with Matt Murdock agreeing to take Peter's case after Mysterio publicly revealed his identity as Spider-Man and pinned his crimes on the young Avenger. As such, Spider-Man doesn't yet know about his lawyer's alter ego as Daredevil.
This will be a new and very exciting status quo for Peter Parker in the MCU leading up to the upcoming Spider-Man 4. Likewise, the MCU also has an opportunity to lay the initial groundwork prior to the sequel by giving Spider-Man a potential appearance in Daredevil: Born Again.
Spider-Man in Daredevil: Born Again Can Be More Than Just A Team-Up Considering the new era Peter Parker has entered in the MCU, Spider-Man teaming up with Daredevil can now be more than just a classic crossover of heroes that's long been coveted by fans.
