Big Mac Sauce Cups Are Finally Coming To McDonald's
Starting April 27, for a limited time, the dipping cups will only be available through the McDonald’s app at participating restaurants across the U.S. .
For the Chicken McNuggets lovers out there, there's even more exciting news headed your way. You can get a side of the sauce for no extra charge with any nuggets purchase. And if you're wondering why the dip cup's branding doesn't match the aesthetic of McDonald's other sauces, there's a reason for that. The Big Mac sauce dip cup is inspired by the original Big Mac sandwich wrapping that dates back to 1968.
"The Big Mac has been an icon on the McDonald’s menu since it first debuted nationally in 1968, after an Owner/Operator in Pittsburg, PA came up with the idea for a double burger sandwich. And the fandom for the Big Mac has only grown with time," read a release from the company.to several of its burgers, including the Cheeseburger and McDouble. Coincidentally, one of those changes includes more sauce on the Big Mac.
