Matt Gaetz proposes end to marijuana testing for service members
has proposed an amendment to a must-pass spending bill that would end marijuana testing for members of the military when they’re enlisting or receiving a commission.
Military officials said last month that the armed forces are facing one of the worst recruiting environments in the past 50 years. “I do not believe that prior use of cannabis should exclude Americans from enlisting in the armed forces,” Mr.said on social media Wednesday. “We should embrace them for stepping up to serve our country.”
