Marvel’s Avengers just launched its latest hero, Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor, who is a mirror of Thor. But according to a longtime Avengers leaker, Miller, the next hero will be quite different than anyone we’ve seen before.
We don’t know a timeline for Bucky Barnes right now, but probably a few months down the line, end of summer, early fall. We are not on a schedule in 2022 where Marvel’s Avengers will replicate what it did last summer with its massive August Wakanda expansion. A Captain Marvel/Kree expansion has been rumored for as long as we’ve been hearing about She-Hulk and Bucky, but it’s unclear when or if that may actually arrive.
One common question is how Marvel’s Avengers is still producing content, given that the game is not exactly a shining success story in the looter live service genre. But it has recent found a revenue stream in the form of MCU skins for its characters, which seems to have given it some extra life.
