Marvel hoped to start shooting “Blade” in Atlanta in November. The studio, however, is now pushing the pause button on that as it looks for a new director following the departure of Bassam Tariq two weeks ago, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Marvel planned to start shooting “Blade” in Atlanta in November. The studio, however, is now pushing the pause button on that as it looks for a new director following the departure of Bassam Tariq two weeks ago,As a result, the movie’s release date has been pushed back 10 months from Nov. 3, 2023 to Sept. 6, 2024.shooting scenes for the movie.
The original script was reportedly penned by Stacy Osei-Kuffour before Beau DeMayo was brought in to take over. As it now stands, “Blade” is slated to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sandwiched between “Thunderbolts” and “Deadpool 3″ .
