Leave it to Mark Levin to cut to the chase and tell conservatives which lanes Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former President Donald Trump have in the 2024 GOP primaries.
“I would argue you're a movement conservative,” he told DeSantis, who granted “the great one” the first radio interview after announcing his presidential bid on Twitter yesterday.“I think Trump has more sort of a commonsense” conservative approach, added Levin, a friend of both Republican challengers.
“Don't you think that distinguishes you from most politicians because you've been governor now five years, going on six years, and you've stuck to your principles, your founding principles, your conservative principles, and you've used them during governing so it's not just a white paper thing. It's not just the debate society, you’ve actually shown how to make them work,” said Levin.
He also said that to be effective, he would need two terms. That, he added, would give him a chance to create a 7-2 Supreme Court majority for conservatives.
