Merseyside has 39 reported hauntings
Have you ever experienced something that logic and science can't explain? A glass falling over and smashing by itself, or maybe hearing the sound of unexplained footsteps in the dead of night? If so, then you aren't alone, as our latest interactive map shows. Just in time for Halloween , the map provides detail on paranormal activity reported in your area, with thousands of hauntings across the UK.
There have also been the sounds of laughing and whistling when no one else has been there, and staff have reported the feeling of their hair being touched. It is said that, in the Queensway Tunnel, a girl who died in a motorbike accident in the 1960s has returned to the scene of her death as a phantom hitch-hiker. There is also said to be an old fashioned police car driving in the early hours of the morning too.
