Manifest season 4’s Flight 828 twist could provide a working explanation for Eden’s connection to the Callings. In Manifest season 4, part 1, the passengers finally found the answers they’ve been looking for regarding the origin of the Callings. As it turns out, everyone on board the airplane was unknowingly bombarded with messages from a divine consciousness.
Breakthroughs that came via Cal’s memories and Saanvi’s research on the black box helped them develop a proper understanding of where the Callings come from. What they don’t know, though, is why Eden has access to them. After all, she was never on the plane, meaning that she had to get them some other way. She couldn’t have simply inherited them from Ben either, given that she’s had Callings unique to her father’s.

As the show explained, the Callings are from the past, which means that every vision they have in the series is actually a repressed memory of something the divine consciousness put inside their minds between 2013 and 2018.
If the divine consciousness wants to give them new information that wasn’t shared with them on the plane, it makes sense that it would need a secondary source. It’s possible that Eden was chosen as a conduit, and has since been used as a way of feeding the passengers additional clues to help them in their journey. That would make sense of why it was Eden and no one else who had the Calling that led the passengers to Marko in Manifest season 4, episode 7.
