Dahood Sharieff Bey, also known as Attila Colar, represented himself during trial, and now faces 30 years behind bars.

OAKLAND — Eight years after he was busted for using forged FBI credentials to acquire a security contract with the Port of Oakland, a Contra Costa man has been convicted of 44 felonies for a $34.6 million fraud scheme, court records show.

In 2015, Dahood Bey was charged with posing as a former FBI agent to secure millions in public security contracts from the Port of Oakland. He created a firm, BMT International Security Services, submitted bogus documents to the port and somehow beat out other legitimate companies vying for the same contracts.
