Man unhurt in Piedmont road rage shooting.
PIEDMONT — A 38-year-old man escaped injury Tuesday morning after his car was shot at by another man in what police said was a road rage confrontation.
The man’s car was hit twice by gunfire, one round going through the trunk and lodging in the back seat and the other hitting a rear quarter panel, police said.Capt. Chris Monahan said it appears the male driver of a possible Alfa Romero became upset because of a turn the 38-year-old man had made in his car in front of him.
The suspect was driving west behind the victim on Oakland Avenue and started shooting at the victim, police said.
