Seattle police are investigating a shooting that appeared to escalate into an armed robbery in the First Hill neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Seattle police on the scene of where a man was shot then robbed outside of Swedish Hospital in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood on June 1, 2023.
Employees at Swedish Medical Center were sent an alert about the robbery and placed under lockdown for about two hours. Officers found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound, and applied aid until Seattle fire crews arrived.
