Middletown Police said the injured man repeatedly changed his story about how the shooting happened.
A man who was shot in the leg this weekend changed stories when talking to investigators about how it happened, police said Monday.
The man first told officers that he did not know who shot him or at what location he was shot, according to police. At the time, officers helped him with emergency medical care until EMS arrived.
