Officer who opened fire is San Diego police sergeant with 14 years on the force
A man shot by San Diego police after he reportedly pointed a gun at officers had been armed with a BB gun, a homicide lieutenant said Thursday.who had come to the home on Bonnie View Drive after the man reportedly threatened to shoot his parents and himself.The names of the man and of the sergeant who shot him likely will not be released until next week, after detectives present the case to the county District Attorney’s Office, said Lt.
