One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Highland County.
A 2008 Mazda 3, operated by 42-year-old William Hornschemeier, was headed northwest on Oldaker Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Hornschemeier failed to navigate a curve, went off the left side of the road, and struck trees before catching on fire.The Wilmington Post of the OSHP l is currently investigating the crash.According to the OSHP statement, Hornschemeier was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Alcohol use is suspected.
