Police said a branch on the tree brushed an electrical line, electrocuting him while in the tree.
Police are investigating a dead man found in a tree in Lancaster Saturday afternoon.
Manheim Township Police said that emergency responders found the 39-year-old man unconscious in a tree on the 2100 block of Kentwood Drive at around 1 p.m. The 39-year-old man was trimming branches in a tree when one of the branches contacted a power line, electrocuting the man to death. The Lancaster County Coroner’s office pronounced the man dead at the scene, and no foul play is suspected, according to police.
