Man fatally shot multiple times apparently over a woman, police say
A man was fatally shot Saturday night in north Houston after an altercation with another man over a woman, according to Houston Police Department officials.
The two men involved in the shooting were part of a reported disturbance around noon. The men got in another fight around 9:50 p.m. that ended with one being shot multiple times in the 1Larry Baimbridge from the Houston Police told On Scene reporters.Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms expected to hit Houston for the rest of the weekend
The shot man ran across the street into a parking lot, where he collapsed. Multiple people called 9-1-1 and the Houston Fire Department arrived and began performing CPR. The man was taken to a hospital, where he died. “Right now we have a pretty good description and possible name of our suspect,” Baimbridge said. “We do have some pretty good information that we believe is going to help us to get this guy charged and hopefully in custody soon.”
