Man arrested for allegedly stalking TV show host Kimberly Crawford

A San Antonio man was arrested after being accused of stalking local TV show host Kimberly Crawford for months and falsely claiming to be married to her, court records show.Crawford is a co-host of KABB’s lifestyle and entertainment show “Daytime with Kimberly and Esteban.” She was also cast as Miss Maine in the hit 2000 film “Miss Congeniality.”
Flores visited the Fox-29 news station, where Crawford works, at least eight times, despite being told he was not permitted on the property, an affidavit supporting Flores’ arrest said. Crawford told police that Flores changed his appearance and vehicle three times in previous months and that she feared Flores would follow her home and harm her, noting that he knows where she parks her vehicle.On July 25, 2022, Flores was parked in the station’s lot until a security guard contacted him. When asked what he was doing, Flores said that he was sent there “by a news anchor … to complete a job,” the affidavit said.
On Jan. 4, Crawford told San Antonio police that Flores had come to the news station that day and on Jan. 2 — asking for her — despite being told by staff to leave. She said that she did not know Flores, the affidavit said.
