Man arrested after pet camera captures brutal attack on girlfriend
Anthony Murgatroyd, 38, of Waverley Garth, Beeston, and his girlfriend got into a fight on Nov. 9 about him seeing prostitutes, theHe dragged the woman into the street, where he beat her before she ran back inside and went to the living room.At one point, Murgatroyd grabbed the terrifying blade and waved it at her before pulling a screwdriver from his pants and attacking her.
Anthony Murgatroyd, 38, is seen waving his zombie knife at his girlfriend in footage captured by a doggie cam he installed.Murgatroyd pleaded guilty to assault with actual bodily harm and possession of a zombie knife in private.“This was a prolonged and violent attack involving weapons, and the victim feared for her life during what was an absolutely terrifying ordeal,” Detective Superintendent Lee Berry said.
