Man arrested, accused of cutting teenager's throat at Chula Vista bus stop [Breaking]
A man accused of sneaking up behind a 17-year-old girl at a Chula Vista bus stop and slitting her throat earlier this week was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Wednesday, police said.
The teenager told officers that she was sitting at the bus stop around 8 a.m. Tuesday,when a stranger walked up behind her, grabbed her head and cut her throat with a sharp object. The man then walked away without saying a word.The teenager had significant cuts to her throat but was conscious and able to give officers a statement, police said. She received treatment at a hospital before heading home.
