Major crash blocks both directions on I-10 near Houston Street Bridge

Both directions will be shut down for several hours.Interstate 10 on the East Side was shutdown in both directions Thursday morning after a vehicle went over the guardrail and caught fire under the overpass at the Houston Street Bridge, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said two vehicles driving eastbound struck each other at about 5 a.m. near the Houston Street Bridge, causing one of the vehicles to crash through the guardrail.
