The author stated that while he still had "some mulling to do" his initial thoughts are that Knock at the Cabin's performances, as well as the film itself, are both "pretty great.
These early Knock at the Cabin reviews have also brought major praise for Shyamalan, with many labeling it as one of his strongest releases to date. Shyamalan's recent movies have received mixed responses from audiences, as the director now grapples with the significant level of expectation that has since attached itself to his projects.
