The 2023 World Cup will run Aug. 25 to Sept. 10 in the Philippines with early-round sites also in Japan and Indonesia. The top World Cup finishers from the Americas , Europe , Africa , Asia and Oceania will qualify to the 2024 Olympics alongside host France. This year, Doncic played for Slovenia for about three months in total, including seven physical, grueling EuroBasket games in 14 days to start September, but he credited the consistent work as the reason he started the Mavericks’ campaign with more MVP-level dominance than fatigue.
