A man who barricaded himself in his Longmont residence for more than 12 hours was arrested early Sunday morning on felony menacing charges.
Travis Allan Jensen, 36, is accused of three counts of felony menacing and one misdemeanor count of failure to leave a premises after peace officer request.
According to an arrest affidavit, three victims at the scene told responding officers that Jensen walked by them while they were discussing yard work in Spanish and asked them why they were looking at him and said “What’s up, you’re not going to do anything about it?” Jensen then told them he wasn’t scared of them.
Jensen refused to exit his home when patrol officers arrived, according to the Facebook post. A reverse notification was issued for the residents in the immediate area to shelter in place and officers from the Longmont, Boulder, Boulder County and Arapahoe County SWAT Teams and the Boulder County Regional Bomb Squad were called in.
