If Erica and her 15-year-old son Devin Smith had one wish, it would be for Devin to get a new kidney. He's been living with kidney disease since shortly after birth.

) - “When I was a little girl, people used to come here to this park and throw coins in it and make wishes,” said Erica Watson.

“Without the surgery, Devin probably wouldn’t make it because both of his kidneys are failing,” explained Erica. “The driving part was stressful. When I got there, he started asking me questions and I started feeling happy about the transplant,” said Devin.
