TV and film actors finished their first day on picket lines as their union strikes, shutting down the industry amid an ongoing walkout by Hollywood writers. Fran Drescher criticized Disney CEO Bob Iger’s comments as “terribly repugnant and out of touch.”

Susan Sarandon, Jason Sudeikis, Uzo Aduba, Sanaa Lathan, Anthony Rapp, Kendrick Sampson and Merritt Wever.and star of “The Nanny,” arrived outside of Netflix’s Los Angeles headquarters to cheers and chants Friday morning.It will affect thousands, if not millions, of people, said Drescher. Previous Hollywood strikes have lasted months.
