Lisa Loring, who portrayed Wednesday Addams in the original “Addams Family” television series from 1964 to 1966, has died, family and friends reported. She was 64.
- The actress Lisa Loring, best known for playing the original Wednesday in “The Addams Family” series, has died at the age of 64.Loring was just 6 years old when she portrayed the iconic death-obsessed, pigtail-wearing Wednesday in “The Addams Family” sitcom.But in 1977, Loring reprised her role as Wednesday Senior in the television film “Halloween with the New Addams Family.”
Her other acting credits include “The Pruitts of Southampton,” “As the World Turns,” “The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.,” “Fantasy Island” and “Barnaby Jones.” Wednesday Addams, left, played by Lisa Loring, is shown with Morticia Addams, played by Carolyn Jones, and Pugsly Addams, played by Ken Weatherwax.
