The reason for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s tense appearances at the “Mother” premiere has been revealed.
A lip reader told the Daily Mail that the couple, who appeared frustrated and irritated at times, were merely debating poses and positioning for the red carpet photographers at Wednesday’s event in Los Angeles.
The expert said that during the now-viral exchange, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer appeared to ask the “Air” star whether her low-cut top was “showing too much,” prompting him to respond that it was fine. After finding their joint pose, Affleck appeared to tell his wife to come closer to him before leaning into her ear and saying, “Don’t worry, babe.”Following their completed photos, the “Argo” director turned to the “Shotgun Wedding” actress and said, “That’s us, done” before giving her a kiss and asking if she was OK.
The so-called “miserable” footage was filmed Tuesday — one day before the “Mother” premiere — and fans believed the pair were in a fight.
