Reading the indictment of our former president was startling in its simplicity! As someone who keeps up on news, political and otherwise, I was still shocked...

I’d recommend that we ordinary citizens, as well as government leaders, read the indictment and reserve judgment, one way or the other, until the legal process is complete.Who indicted former President Donald Trump? It was not Jack Smith or President Joe Biden. What we do know is that they were Florida citizens! Somehow that factor was not in some news reports.

I, too, was one of the lucky ones to have Miss Knoble as a history teacher. I was a junior at Richardson High School when I took American history, and it was the year of the Kennedy/Nixon debates and the election that followed. I remember well how she brought the whole process of selecting a president to life for our class. She taught us how to read news articles and critique the content.
