State by state, Republicans are achieving their goal of firearms anywhere and everywhere. No license or training required, no age restrictions in many cases. Republican sheriffs decline to enforce federal gun laws. Presumably they can tell “a good guy with a gun from a bad guy with a gun.”
Statistically, there is a disgruntled, mentally ill or otherwise outraged person in your town, large or small, who possesses a gun and who is a potential mass shooter. In cities there are likely many. When, oh when, will we become as outraged by the tragic loss of life now happening at least weekly in this country!
