Perhaps the president is also responsible for inflation in the United Kingdom , in the Eurozone , in Russia , in South Africa , and in Hungary, where Viktor Orban, the darling of the Republicans, is in charge .
There was a time in this country when rational discussion of policies and issues at least occasionally occurred between parties and candidates, and evidence and critical thinking were valued commodities. Perhaps some of you can remember such a time.
