The skit was both a reunion for Amy Poehler and Weekend Update, as well as the characters of Leslie Knope and April Ludgate. Sadly, Li'l Sebastian could not make an appearance.
Aubrey Plaza served as host during the Jan. 23 episode of “SNL” and surprised viewers with a reprisal of her snarky “Parks and Rec” character “to encourage young people to get involved with local government.”
Knope, typically an enthusiastic government employee seemed less inclined to talk shop and instead sat awestruck by the late night sketch comedy show’s day-to-day schedule. “Who knew there cameras at ‘SNL’?” she said. They even worked in a line about Knope’s crush on Joe Biden .
