LeeSunGyun, MoonChaeWon, And More Boldly Go Up Against Injustice In Powerful 'Payback' Poster
SBS’s “Payback” tells the thrilling revenge story of those who risk everything to fight a money cartel that has colluded with the law. The drama will give viewers both thrills and catharsis through its portrayal of those who refuse to remain silent and fight against incompetent and unjust authority in their own way.
On December 19, “Payback” unveiled a charismatic poster featuring the four main leads looking confident on their way to fight for what’s right. Lee Sun Gyun stars as reclusive money dealer Eun Yong, who earns high profits as a faceless hedge fund manager, while Moon Chae Won stars as Army Major Park Joon Kyung, an elite judicial officer and former prosecutor. Kang Yoo Seok plays young prosecutor Jang Tae Choon who is also Eun Yong’s nephew, and Park Hoon portrays elite prosecutor Hwang Gi Seok.
With his fiery gaze and subtle smile, Eun Yong looks straight ahead, showcasing his ambitious determination to confront unjust powers. Without a single line out of place, Park Joon Kyung appears upright as she prepares to face injustice eye to eye. Jang Tae Choon’s gaze is overflowing with malice, representing his heroic spirit to work his way into the prosecution’s special department that has a specific authority.
The drama’s producers commented, “We ask for lots of anticipation for ‘Payback,’ a fun, exhilarating, and refreshing revenge drama that these four trustworthy actors will convey.”
