LeeJiAh And KangKiYoung Confirmed To Star In New Drama
On July 5, JTBC’s upcoming drama “Great Problem Solver” announced that Lee Ji Ah and Kang Ki Young will be starring as the leads of the upcoming drama. “Great Problem Solver” is a drama that has the solution to punish “bad spouses,” with Korea’s greatest divorce problem solver putting an end to their clients’ problematic marriage lives.
Lee Ji Ah plays Kim Sa Ra, who is the team leader of the divorce settlement company Solution. Kim Sa Ra was the daughter-in-law of the family behind the best law firm in Korea, but she loses everything overnight after being backstabbed by her husband. Afterwards, she transforms into a divorce problem solver who provides the perfectly tailored solution to those who were wronged and want to punish their bad spouses.
Kang Ki Young plays Kim Sa Ra’s business partner and Solution’s advisory counsel Dong Ki Joon. During his time as a prosecutor, Dong Ki Joon showcased an extraordinary sense of perseverance and intuition to the point that he earned the nickname “Shepherd.” He had the highest prosecution rate in the Southwestern District Prosecutors’ Office, but due to some reason, he steps down from his position, raising curiosity for his backstory.
As the two resolve cases together one by one, Kim Sa Ra and Dong Ki Joon gradually grow closer, creating romantic tension along with diverse chemistry in the upcoming revenge drama. The production team shared, “‘Great Problem Solver’ is a drama in which realistic close-up heroes give a safe vaccine that hurts a little to couples all over the world.
