Lawsuit against Sidney Powell hits another wall in Collin County | Opinion
Powell contended that a conspiracy between Dominion Voting Systems and foreign dictators resulted in hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes cast in favor of President Joe Biden in those states. None of the cases was successful.
Even more disappointing is that Bouressa has based her rulings not on the merits of the bar’s case, but on clerical and procedural errors by the bar. In one ruling, she chastised the bar’s lawyers for not properly ordering their exhibits attached to a filing. Powell figured prominently in the investigation of the U.S. House Jan. 6 committee, which found that Trump led a “multi-part” conspiracy, fueled in part by Powell, to overturn the election.
