Syd is a St. Louis drug kingpin hellbent on recovering 70 pounds of cocaine dropped in a Georgia forest in various duffel bags, only to be picked up by a black bear. After the cocaine goes missing, Syd recruits Daveed , a fixer and Eddie’s friend, to hunt down the drugs and get Eddie back in the game.

His motivation is clear — Syd has to face his own suppliers in Colombia, who he knows will come after him and his family, including Eddie and his grandson.
