The 13-time Grammy winner admits she likes to “have time to be alone” and enjoys her own company so much that she’s not looking to have it any other way.

“It’s really nice to just have time to be alone, and be expansive, and know that you’re enough. I wish I could tell my younger self that.”

The Academy Award winner said her intentions with music have always remained about the craft and not the rewards that come with it. Lady Gaga performs during the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl 51 Halftime Show at NRG Stadium on Feb. 5, 2017 in Houston, Texas.Gaga said that she enjoys her own company and would happily embrace a life of solitude.

“If I wasn’t successful in the way that I am today — I’m very grateful for my success — I’d still be doing it, I’d be on the Lower East Side. I would do it no matter what. Absolutely, 100%,” she said.
